Hi! My name is Melissa Lyon. I am in my 4th year of the Elementary Education Degree Program at UVIC. I have a passion for educational technology and I am just finishing up a UVIC certificate in Information Communication Technology. I believe very strongly that in order to grow and succeed in school and in life, one needs to have a growth mindset.  I also believe that everyone has the ability to achieve their goals. I hope that this course will help teachers learn how to educate their students and parents on how to improve learning.
